This theme is interspersed with adventurous and exciting measures that depict the smugglers who once played a role on both sides of the border. In the second part, the annual procession in Dinxperlo is expressed musically. The third part begins with the lively sounds of the border market, which takes place annually on Ascension Day. The festivities are interspersed with chorale-like sounds – based on the smallest church in the Netherlands: a local attraction.
