Sire V1 4 Marcus Miller 4-string Passive Bass Guitar tobacco sunburst

Passive Jazz Bass to get started

The Sire Marcus Miller V1 is the entry-level model of the series and is intended for beginners, students, and music schools. It is built in the same factory as the more expensive Sire models, meaning that the finish and playability are far above the level of most starter basses. The mahogany body delivers a warm, round sound with a full low end.

22 frets and Edgeless™ edges

The hard maple neck has a C-profile and a rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium frets and Edgeless™ rolled edges. With a scale length of 34 inches and a radius of 9.5 inches, this is a familiar, comfortable jazz bass neck—even for those just starting out.

Fully passive and easy to set up

Two Sire Basic J single coils are controlled with two volume knobs and one tone control. No battery, no menus: the balance between both pickups and the tone control allows you to achieve all classic jazz bass sounds.
