Band Time Starter

The Band Time series was developed to introduce children early on to ensemble playing in a wind orchestra. Band Time Starter makes this possible in the very first year. This edition contains four-part pieces in various styles - the first three pieces are three-part, adapted to the skills of the beginner student. The difficulty level and musical content are based on Horen, Lezen & Spelen (Listen, Read & Play). The score explains how to make optimal use of the series and how the instrumentation can best be applied to your specific ensemble. On the separately available CD, the pieces are played by a wind orchestra, so that students at home can get a good impression of how the pieces sound. They can play along or listen to them. This will promote motivation (and study results).
