A full-fledged piano in a compact cabinet
The Medeli CP203/BK combines the playing feel of a full-fledged digital piano with a slim, space-saving housing. The black satin finish gives the instrument a calm and modern look that easily fits into various interiors.
The keyboard consists of 88 full-sized GAC keys with graded hammer action. The keys feel heavier in the lower register than in the upper register, similar to an acoustic piano. Thanks to touch sensitivity, the sound responds precisely to the force with which you play.
Two distinctive grand pianos
The CP203 features thirty built-in voices. These include two different grand pianos: a German Grand with a warm and powerful character and a Japanese Grand with a clear, direct response. This allows for an appropriate piano sound to be chosen for various music styles.
The maximum polyphony of 192 notes ensures that even fast passages, complex chords, and pedal use are reproduced without notes dropping out prematurely. With the layer and split functions, sounds can be combined or distributed across different parts of the keyboard.
Rhythms and functions for focused practice
Fifty built-in drum rhythms make it possible to practice with a steady accompaniment. The rhythms are easy to start and stop, and the accompaniment volume can be adjusted separately.
The music library contains one hundred piano songs. In addition, a metronome, transposition, octave setting, and various temperaments are available. With Twinova, the keyboard is divided into two equal playing areas, so that a teacher and student can play simultaneously in the same pitch range.
USB audio and easy app control
Via USB-B, the CP203 can exchange both MIDI and digital audio with a computer or suitable mobile device. This allows piano playing to be recorded directly in recording software, and audio from the connected device can be output through the piano's speakers or headphones.
The CP203 also works with the Medeli PianoToolbox app for iOS and Android. With this app, sounds and settings, among other things, can be clearly selected.
Four speakers and three pedals
Two amplifiers of 20 watts each power a system with four speakers. Two 12 cm speakers provide the foundation, while two smaller 6 cm speakers clearly reproduce the high frequencies.
The integrated pedal unit offers sustain, soft, and sostenuto functions. For silent practice, both a 6.35mm and a 3.5mm headphone jack are available.
