Franz Schubert: The Trout Fantasy (Saxophone Quintet)
In 1817, the Austrian composer Franz Schubert wrote the famous song Die Forelle (Opus 32). He reused it in 1819 for the fourth movement of his famous Trout Quintet, the title of which is based on the song. Robert van Beringen used the lively theme for The Trout Fantasy, a piece for five-part saxophone ensemble.
