The Ibanez ALT50FARDB in Red Doom Burst High Gloss is an electro-acoustic guitar from the Altstar series. The Altstar ALT50FA is an acoustic guitar with the fast feel and look of a modern electric guitar. Its construction combines an Altstar Flamed Maple Art Grain (Basswood) top, Sapele back and sides, and a Comfort Grip Maple neck. The Purpleheart fingerboard, Sharktooth inlays, and 22 large frets provide a direct response and a reliable playing feel, both for rhythmic work and technical playing.
For sound shaping, this model is equipped with an Ibanez undersaddle pickup. The Ibanez AEQ-2T preamp with tuner and 6.3mm output allows for quick tone changes and accurate tuning of the instrument for amplifier, stage, or recording situations. The Purpleheart bridge with Ibanez Advantage bridge pins supports stable tuning and efficient transfer of string vibrations.
The scale length is 648 mm / 25.5 inches, with a fingerboard radius of 400 mm. The instrument comes standard with Ibanez IACS61C strings: .010/.014/.023/.030/.039/.047. The design is completed with Black, 18:1 die-cast tuners. Recommended bag: IAB540-BK.
