For Cityscapes, the composer was inspired by the metropolis of New York, the largest city in the United States.
The first part evokes the skyline of the Big Apple. The magnificent sight of Manhattan, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Statue of Liberty, among others, serves as the model for the captivating main theme. In the second part, the mood of Central Park is depicted. This immense park in New York is a place for relaxation and entertainment. The final part of this triptych focuses on the ever-bustling Manhattan, known for its many skyscrapers and the financial center, Wall Street. Highly recommended!
