Jan Van der Roost: Four Old Dances (Accordion Ensemble)
These four dances are written in a kind of neo-Renaissance style. Given the low technical demands placed on the performers, these little dances are primarily aimed at beginner groups, youth ensembles, and also all kinds of small ensembles. Jan Van der Roost initially had pedagogical intentions. Myriam Mees arranged Four Old Dances with the same intention for accordion orchestra with electronium and percussion ad libitum.
