The JET JS-40 Metallic Burst is part of the Elite Series, which combines selected wood species, improved electronics, and precision hardware within a classic S-style platform. Finished in Metallic Burst, this model delivers traditional ergonomics enhanced with refined materials and reliable performance components.

The body is constructed from three-piece poplar, ensuring balanced resonance and structural consistency. The bolt-on quartersawn light roasted maple neck enhances stability and durability, paired with an Indian rosewood fingerboard featuring a 9.5-inch radius, 22 medium jumbo frets (2.6 mm), and abalone dot inlays. The 25.5-inch scale length and C-shape neck profile maintain classic S-style playability with controlled response.

The JS-40 Metallic Burst is equipped with a custom-designed Alnico V HSS pickup set, combining a bridge humbucker with two single coils for versatile tonal coverage. Electronics include a 5-way selector switch, 1 volume and 1 tone control, plus a coil-split function, allowing extensive tonal flexibility within a traditional control layout.

Hardware features include a Wilkinson WV6SB tremolo bridge for smooth vibrato actions and stable return to pitch, along with Wilkinson WJ-55 vintage-style tuning machines for accurate and reliable tuning stability. A high-end PPS nut supports consistent string spacing and smooth tuning performance. The guitar comes factory-equipped with D’Addario EXL110 strings and includes a deluxe gig bag.
