Johow Johow: Circus Time (Clarinet)
The orchestra strikes up the circus march before the artists appear – the audience waits in eager anticipation. From the opening march to the grand finale, spectators are treated to a colourful programme: brave acrobats, funny clowns, oriental belly dancers, knife throwers, and snake charmers follow one another in the ring.
Circus Time is also available for clarinet, alto saxophone, and violin (in the same sounding key). This offers all sorts of possibilities: musicians can take turns with solo performances or form a real circus orchestra, or even – in a suitable setting and with the help of props – put on a genuine circus show. Let your imagination run wild.
The accompanying CD includes both demo tracks and backing tracks for all pieces. For live accompaniment by keyboard and/or guitar, chord symbols (written at sounding pitch) are provided above the music. Optional piano accompaniments are available separately (order number: DHP 1125344-401). Let the show begin!
