Due to its origins, the young state of Israel has a great diversity of folk music styles. This Israeli suite contains a number of examples. The first part is simply called Yossy's Song (Nigun shell Yossy). Part two is about You and I (At va'ani). The arrangement here features a dialogue between the first and second parts. Mayim, the third part of the suite, is a dance that emphasizes the great importance of water in Israel.
