Warm vintage jazz tone
These tape-wound bass strings feature a nylon wrap over a steel core. The smooth surface makes them ideally suited for fretless basses, as they protect the fingerboard. The sound is warm and deep with a long sustain — the round vintage jazz tone for which bassists like Ron Carter are known. They also perform exceptionally well on an acoustic bass guitar.

Fresh out of the package
La Bella packs its strings using MAP technology (Modified Atmosphere Packaging). This prevents tarnishing and ensures they are just as fresh when opened as the day they were made. The strings are manufactured in the United States using American Wire.
