The Medeli AK603 is a comprehensive digital workstation for musicians who want to play, arrange, compose, and record. The instrument combines 61 touch-sensitive keys with 750 voices, 280 automatic accompaniment styles, a powerful sequencer, and extensive audio capabilities.

Thanks to its high polyphony, built-in speakers, and practical connections, the AK603 is suitable for home use, music lessons, rehearsals, studio recordings, and live performances.

Expressive keyboard with 256-note polyphony

The professional PTK III keyboard consists of 61 touch-sensitive keys. The sound responds to the force with which you play, allowing soft and powerful passages to be expressed naturally.

With a maximum polyphony of 256 notes, the AK603 can handle complex arrangements, sustain, dual voices, and accompaniment parts without notes being unexpectedly cut off.

750 voices and space for your own sounds

The built-in collection includes 750 voices, such as pianos, electric pianos, organs, guitars, wind instruments, strings, synthesizers, and percussion. With Synth Mode, you can customize existing sounds and save up to 50 of your own user voices.

The keyboard supports Layer and Split. This allows you to combine two sounds or assign different sounds to the left and right sides of the keyboard.

Automatic accompaniment with 280 styles

The AK603 features 280 accompaniment styles across various music genres. By playing chords with your left hand, you control a complete virtual backing band. Each style includes multiple intros, endings, variations, fills, and a break function.

In addition to the factory styles, there are 50 user locations and 50 slots for expansion styles. New styles can be imported via USB memory.

Sequencer and audio recording

With the built-in sixteen-track sequencer, you can record up to five of your own songs. This allows you to build an arrangement step by step with separate tracks for drums, bass, chords, and melody, for example.

The AK603 can also play and record audio in MP3 and WAV formats. A USB memory can be used for storing and exchanging songs, styles, sounds, and audio files.

Extensive effects and sound control

To refine your sound, 32 reverbs, 64 chorus variations, and 24 insert effects are available. The built-in mixer provides control over the individual components of your arrangement, while five Master EQ settings adapt the overall sound to your playing environment.

An arpeggiator, harmony function, transpose, octave shift, and extensive tuning options offer additional creative control.

Performance memory and Phrase Pads

Frequently used combinations of sounds, styles, and settings can be saved in the performance memory. There are 32 banks, each with six registration slots, allowing you to quickly recall complete settings during a performance.

The four Phrase Pads with up to 100 banks can be used to trigger musical phrases and additional parts. The assignable joystick provides direct control over pitch bend, modulation, and other selected functions.

Powerful built-in speaker system

The speaker system consists of two 12cm speakers and two 3cm speakers. The combination with amplification of 2 × 25 watts and 2 × 15 watts delivers a full sound with sufficient power for home use, rehearsals, and smaller performances.

Separate left and right outputs are available for connection to external amplification. Headphones allow you to practice without disturbing others.

USB audio, MIDI, and extensive connections

Via USB-B, the Medeli AK603 can exchange audio and MIDI with a computer. This allows you to use the keyboard with recording programs, virtual instruments, and music software.

The USB-A connection supports external storage media up to 256 GB. Additionally, there is an audio input, stereo outputs, a headphone jack, and a connection for a sustain or expression pedal.
