Compact wireless microphone system for video recording
The NUX B-10 Vlog is a compact wireless microphone system for vloggers, content creators, presenters, and mobile videographers. The set consists of a lightweight clip-on transmitter with a built-in microphone and a receiver for connecting to a camera or smartphone.
Audio is transmitted digitally via the 2.4GHz band, allowing for free movement without the need for a long microphone cable between the speaker and recording equipment.
Built-in omnidirectional condenser microphone
The transmitter features a built-in omnidirectional electret condenser microphone. This microphone captures sound from various directions, making it easy to attach the transmitter to clothing without needing to precisely aim the microphone at the mouth.
The microphone supports a maximum sound pressure level of 110 dB SPL, making the system suitable for speech, interviews, presentations, instructional videos, and other content recordings.
Connection for an external lavalier microphone
In addition to the built-in microphone, the transmitter has a 3.5mm TRS input for a compatible external microphone. When an external microphone is connected, the system automatically switches to this input.
This allows the transmitter to be worn in a jacket pocket, for example, with only a small lavalier microphone remaining visible.
Clear digital sound quality
The B-10 Vlog transmits audio with a resolution of 24-bit and a sample rate of 44.1 kHz. The frequency range of 50 Hz to 20 kHz ensures clear and natural voice reproduction.
The system latency is less than 5 milliseconds, keeping video and audio almost perfectly synchronized during recording.
Wireless range up to 30 meters
Under favorable conditions, the system has a wireless range of up to approximately 30 meters. This range applies with a clear line of sight between the transmitter and receiver and can be affected by walls, metal objects, Wi-Fi routers, and other wireless equipment.
For the most stable connection possible, it is advisable to maintain some distance from powerful Wi-Fi routers and to not completely obstruct the transmitter and receiver.
Automatic pairing and simple operation
After powering on, the transmitter and receiver automatically pair with each other. This eliminates the need for extensive configuration, allowing the system to be quickly prepared for recording.
A short press of the transmitter's power button temporarily mutes the microphone. The LED indicator and the receiver's display provide information about the connection and system status.
Suitable for cameras and smartphones
The included 3.5mm TRS cable can connect the receiver to the microphone input of a compatible camera. For mobile devices with an analog CTIA headset jack, a TRS-to-TRRS adapter is included.
For smartphones without a 3.5mm jack, a separate USB-C or Lightning audio adapter may be required. Please check in advance which connection your mobile device supports.
Rechargeable batteries and low weight
Both the transmitter and receiver have a built-in rechargeable 400 mAh battery. A single charge provides approximately four hours of usage, depending on conditions.
The transmitter and receiver each weigh only 28 grams. Thanks to their compact design and integrated clips, both components can be easily attached to clothing, a camera strap, or other recording equipment.
