Bluetooth Audio makes it possible to wirelessly play music, backing tracks, and practice tracks from a smartphone or tablet through the connected NUX device. Bluetooth MIDI can be used for wireless MIDI communication with supported music apps.
Wireless Music Playback
With Bluetooth Audio, you can stream audio directly from a compatible mobile device. This makes it easy to play along with songs, backing tracks, or online learning materials without connecting a separate audio cable.
The final volume of the music played back is set via your smartphone, tablet, or the connected NUX device.
Bluetooth MIDI for Music Apps
Through Bluetooth MIDI, compatible NUX instruments can wirelessly exchange MIDI data with supported apps. This is practical, for example, when using educational apps, virtual instruments, recording programs, and other MIDI applications.
Bluetooth Audio and Bluetooth MIDI are different connections and can therefore appear separately in the settings of your phone, tablet, or music app.
Easy Connection via USB-C
Insert the NBT-1 into the designated USB-C port of a compatible NUX device and power on the device. The adapter receives its power directly via the USB-C port, eliminating the need for a battery or separate power adapter.
A built-in indicator shows the pairing status. After the initial connection, the mobile device can typically recognize the dongle automatically during subsequent use.
Check Compatibility
The NUX NBT-1 is a product-specific Bluetooth module and not a universal USB-C Bluetooth adapter for computers, phones, or arbitrary music equipment. Therefore, before purchasing, please check whether your NUX model officially supports the NBT-1.
