Transparent Analog Compression
The high-quality analog circuit delivers clear and natural-sounding compression. Soft passages become more audible, while hard peaks remain controlled. The result is a balanced sound with more sustain and articulation, both during live performances and studio recordings.
Parallel Compression with Blend
The Blend knob allows you to mix the original dry signal with the compressed signal. Fully to the left, you only hear the dry signal; fully to the right, you get maximum compression. Intermediate settings combine the instrument's natural attack with the compressor's added sustain and evenness.
Clip Control for Input Signal
The Clip knob determines how much signal is sent to the compressor circuit. This allows the input to be matched to instruments and pickups with different output levels. The control also helps reduce unwanted distortion from an overly strong input signal.
Adjustable Attack and Release
The Attack switch allows you to choose from two combinations of attack and release times. One setting is suitable for powerful instruments with active electronics or humbuckers. The other setting is tailored for pickups with a lower output level, such as traditional single-coils.
Extensive Tone Control
Five rotary knobs and a switch offer precise control over the dynamics, sustain, and clarity of the sound.
