NUX NPK-10 Digital Stage Piano in Black

NUX NPK-10 Digital Stage Piano in Black

Authentic piano feel in a portable design. The NUX NPK-10 is a digital stage piano with 88 weighted keys, developed for pianists who want to combine a realistic playing feel with modern features and a portable design. The instrument is suitable for practicing at home, music lessons, rehearsals, recordings, and small-scale performances.

Thanks to the built-in stereo speakers, the piano can be used without additional amplification. Weighing 12.2 kilograms, the NPK-10 is also easy to move and can be used in various locations.

Triple-sensor graded hammer-action keyboard

The NUX WKJ-03 keyboard features 88 weighted keys with three sensors, graded hammer action, and escapement. The lower keys feel heavier than the higher keys, similar to the keyboard of an acoustic grand piano. The three sensors accurately register fast note repetitions and subtle dynamic differences.

The key surfaces have a synthetic ivory texture that provides extra grip while playing. The touch sensitivity is adjustable in five levels: Super Light, Light, Medium, Heavy, and Super Heavy.

Twelve carefully selected sounds

The NPK-10 includes twelve high-quality instrument sounds. In addition to an expressive acoustic grand piano, electric piano, marimba, harpsichord, strings, organ, and pad sounds are available. With up to 189-voice polyphony, complex chords, layered sounds, and pedal use remain clearly audible.

The Layer function allows two sounds to be played simultaneously. The balance between both sounds can be adjusted separately. Twin Piano divides the keyboard into two similar playing zones, which is practical during music lessons where teacher and student play side-by-side.

Effects and personal sound settings

The sound can be further adjusted with various reverb and delay types. Settings are available for Hall, Church, Plate, Stage, and Delay. Additionally, the piano features four chorus levels and five settings for sound brightness.

Two user memories allow favorite settings to be saved and quickly recalled later. This way, a frequently used combination of sound, effects, and playing settings does not have to be reconfigured every time.

Bluetooth Audio and Bluetooth MIDI

Via Bluetooth Audio, music can be played wirelessly from a smartphone or tablet through the built-in speakers. This makes it easy to play along with favorite songs, accompaniments, or online music lessons.

Bluetooth MIDI enables a wireless connection to compatible music and learning apps. The NPK-10 can be used with the NUX Piano Mate app for interactive exercises and additional control options, among others.

Rhythms, recorder, and practical practice functions

The NPK-10 includes twelve drum patterns that can be used as rhythmic accompaniment. The integrated metronome offers nine time signatures and an adjustable tempo from 20 to 280 bpm. In addition, thirty demo songs are included.

The built-in recorder can capture one performance with a maximum of approximately 18,000 notes. Functions such as transposition, octave shift, master tuning, and auto-power off are also available.

Extensive connectivity options

Via USB MIDI, the stage piano can be connected to a computer or mobile device for recording, music production, and controlling virtual instruments. The stereo AUX input allows an external audio source to be connected.

The separate L/Mono and R line outputs are suitable for connection to a mixer, audio interface, active speakers, or PA system. Two headphone jacks enable silent practice or shared listening.

Built-in stereo speakers

The two oval speakers are each driven by a 10-watt amplifier. This stereo system provides sufficient volume for home use, music lessons, rehearsals, and small performances. For larger stages, the piano can be connected to external amplification via the line outputs.
