Oskar Rieding: Concerto In B minor Op.35(Edition Peters)
This concerto continues to enjoy unbroken popularity among both students and teachers. For young violinists, it is often the first "major" recital piece with three longer, effective movements; for the teacher, it offers a good opportunity to introduce their students to light concert literature.
This student concerto is published by Edition Peters in a technical arrangement by experienced violin pedagogue Franziska Matz. She places special emphasis on tone production, which should not be neglected even with differentiated bowing techniques.
The work is also excellently suited for group instruction. Thanks to fold-out pages, there is no need for distracting page turns for the solo part.
