The most popular roundwound bass string ever. Rotosound was the first company to produce such a string. After its introduction in 1962, the Swing Bass string changed the bass sound forever. It is the preferred string of many bassists, including Billy Sheehan, John Paul Jones, and Geddy Lee. The steel used for these strings is unique, and the manufacturing process remains a well-kept secret decades after its introduction.
