The Tru Bass bass sound is famous from The Beatles album 'Abbey Road'. The smooth sound and ultra-low string tension make any electric bass sound like an upright bass. These strings are perfectly suited for a fretless bass. They are ideal for jazz, fusion, dub, and reggae styles. Herbie Flowers used Tru Bass strings for the basslines on Lou Reed's album 'Transformer'.
