Rupert Neve Designs R6 - 500-series rack – 500-series rack

This compact rack from Rupert Neve Designs accommodates six 500-series modules (Lunchbox format). The rear of the Rupert Neve Designs R6 features numerous connections, allowing the units to be integrated into your studio in many ways. The power supply offers 8 channels of balanced I/O in the following formats: DB-25, XLR, and TRS. These connections can be used interchangeably. This is ideal if the rack is used mobile and you are not sure which connections are available at the location. The thru-connections of channels 7 and 8 can be used to quickly and easily convert a signal to/from DB-25, XLR, and TRS connectors. The R6 offers more than double the required power to prevent units from failing due to higher-than-expected loads. The actual power consumption can be read via the LEDs on the front. The internal power supply is carefully designed and double-shielded to prevent interference due to magnetic induction. The chassis is made of solid steel and equipped with shock-absorbing bumpers and a collapsible handle for ease of carrying. The R6 can be used with any 500-module and can also be linked in pairs via the link jumpers on channels 1-2, 3-4, and 5-6. Matching blank panels are also available to cover any empty slots.
