The RNHP is a purpose-built, 24V reference-quality headphone amplifier, designed to bring out the best in any pair of headphones, whether you're tracking, mixing, or simply listening.
Based on the headphone output of the 5060 Centerpiece Desktop Mixer, the RNHP features three specifically calibrated inputs: balanced +4dBu, unbalanced RCA, and 3.5mm (1/8") jack, housed in a rugged, VESA-mountable steel chassis. With effortlessly open, detailed sound and ample power to drive any headphones without compromise, the RNHP provides a new level of clarity for performing, mixing, and listening.
With much equipment, the headphone output is an afterthought: integrated amplifiers in products with large feature sets, small footprints, and low price points generally deliver limited power and limited audio quality, resulting in low headroom, unreliable performance, and insufficient focus. The RNHP is specifically designed to provide high-quality, powerful amplification with precise calibration per source. That difference in quality can be decisive: it inspires artists to their best performance, helps engineers make better choices in microphone and placement, gives mix engineers reliable translation of EQ and dynamics adjustments, and allows listeners to appreciate the full depth and detail of a recording.
In addition to driving a wide range of headphones without compromising performance, the RNHP handles a broad spectrum of signals through its three inputs, each calibrated for optimal level and impedance.
Thanks to VESA 100 compatibility, the RNHP can be mounted on pole, wall, table, or articulating arm mounts, ensuring optimal positioning at all times. For situations with only one set of outputs that need to feed both the RNHP and another device (such as speakers, a second headphone amplifier, or a 2-track recorder), splitter cables from the left and right line outputs are sufficient to drive both devices from the same stereo pair.
