The CC-22 has been the standard first student guitar with a solid top for many years. The comfortable playability of the modern neck profile and the ability to set the strings low inspire people to take guitar lessons.
The Señorita model has a shorter scale length and a narrower neck, perfect features for smaller adults and older children. The soundbox is still standard size, so the sound is not negatively affected.
The sound is warm and, thanks to the sapele sides and back, still light and clear. The use of a real bone nut and saddle combined with the best strings are quality components and contribute greatly to the good sound of the CC-22. A better start is almost impossible!
Good playability is also guaranteed in the long term by the presence of an adjustable truss rod. Your dealer can adjust this correctly in just a few minutes during regular maintenance, ensuring the ideal string height is maintained. A truss rod is increasingly present especially in higher-end classical guitars, but with Salvador Cortez it is a standard feature from entry-level to Custom Shop.
