The SE Electronics Z5600A II is a high-quality multipattern large-diaphragm studio microphone with a tube preamp. The 12AX7 tube adds that little extra to the beautiful characteristic. On the external power supply, you can switch between omni, cardioid, and figure-8 in 9 steps. The microphone also has a low-cut filter and a -10 dB pad. The Z5600A II is a true workhorse: amazing for vocals, (kick) drums, overhead, acoustic instruments, and guitar cabinets. The Z5600A II has a very beautiful gray/silver finish and comes with a spider-shockmount and power supply in a beautiful robust aluminum flight case.
