The Sire Larry Carlton A3GSVS is an electro-acoustic grand auditorium with a roasted solid spruce top. The compact body with cutaway plays comfortably and provides easy access to the higher positions. The sound is balanced: a strong bass, present mids, and clear highs, making the guitar excel in both fingerstyle and chord playing.

The mahogany back and sides give the sound warmth and body. The high-gloss sunburst finish with herringbone binding makes it a well-groomed instrument for home, rehearsals, studio recordings, and performances.

Comfortable Edgeless™ fretboard

The mahogany neck has a comfortable C-profile and is attached to the body with a traditional dovetail joint. The rosewood fretboard features smoothly rounded Edgeless™ edges, making the neck feel natural in hand and comfortable to play for both chords and melodic lines.

The 650 mm scale length, 16-inch fretboard radius, and 43 mm nut width offer a familiar playing feel. A bone nut and bone saddle ensure efficient transfer of string vibrations and support a clear, direct attack.

SIB electronics with piezo and microphone

For amplified use, the A3GSVS is equipped with the Sire SIB Acoustic EQ System. This double-source system combines a piezo pickup under the saddle with an internal condenser microphone. The piezo delivers a direct and clear sound, while the microphone captures the natural character and resonance of the soundbox.

The controls are discreetly located on the side of the body: master volume, microphone blend, and EQ (mid-contour with bass and mid-highs adjustment). This allows you to easily adapt the guitar to different amplifiers, stages, and recording situations.
