Versatile S-style guitar with modern playability
The Sire Larry Carlton S3 New Gen combines the versatile sounds of a classic S-style guitar with contemporary playing comfort. The three Sire Standard single-coil pickups deliver bright highs, warm mid-range frequencies, and a dynamic response suitable for genres including pop, blues, funk, rock, and country.
With the five-way switch, you can select individual pickups or characteristic intermediate positions. The simple controls with one volume and one tone knob make it easy to quickly adjust the desired sound while playing.
Comfortable Edgeless Fretboard
The Indonesian mahogany body features an ergonomically shaped double-cut design. The bolt-on hard maple neck has a comfortable C-profile and a rosewood Edgeless fretboard. The rounded fretboard edges give the neck a smooth, played-in feel.
The fretboard has a 9.5-inch radius and 22 medium-jumbo frets. Combined with the 25.5-inch scale length and the 42 mm wide bone nut, this offers a familiar balance between comfortable chording, clear articulation, and smooth soloing.
Two-point tremolo and stylish finish
The Sire two-point tremolo bridge allows for subtle vibrato effects and wider pitch variations. The Dark Navy finish is combined with a mint green pickguard and chrome hardware, giving the guitar a stylish vintage look.
