Informatie
P-bass with extra J-pickup
The Sire Marcus Miller P7 New Gen combines the character of a classic precision bass with the clarity of a jazz bass. The split-coil P-pickup provides the thick, assertive fundamental tone for which the P-bass is known, while the J-pickup at the bridge opens up the top end. The North American alder body keeps the whole thing tight and balanced.
Wider nut and stainless steel frets
The neck features the New Gen C-profile with Edgeless™ rolled fretboard edges and 2.4mm stainless steel frets. The nut is slightly wider than on a jazz bass at 47.5mm, which makes the string spacing at the headstock a bit more spacious — pleasant for fingerstyle playing.
Heritage-3 preamp with mini-toggle
The Marcus Heritage-3 preamp controls treble, middle with adjustable mid-frequency, and bass. Unlike the V-models, there is a separate mini-switch for active and passive, allowing you to switch without changing your settings. All controls are under aluminum knobs.
