The playability of a guitar with the sound of a banjo
The SX BJ456VS is a 6-string guitar-banjo that combines the familiar playability of a guitar with the bright, sparkling sound of a banjo. This makes the instrument particularly interesting for guitarists who want to use an authentic banjo sound without having to learn a completely different playing technique first.
The banjo features an okoume wood rim and a closed resonator with flamed veneer. Together with the Remo head and eighteen tension hooks, this construction delivers a direct response and powerful projection. This ensures that both rhythmic chord parts and melody lines come across clearly.
Full-fledged guitar neck
The nato wood neck has a scale length of 670 mm and a nut width of 44 mm. The rosewood fretboard has 22 nickel frets and is equipped with white star-shaped position markers. These dimensions give guitarists a recognizable and comfortable playing feel.
The dual-action truss rod allows for precise adjustment of the neck's position. The bone nut and the maple bridge with ebony top ensure efficient transfer of string vibrations and a clear attack.
