Luxury Lap Steel Made of Solid American Ash
The SX LG2ASHNA is a luxurious six-string lap steel guitar made of solid American ash. This type of wood has been used for electric guitars for decades, delivering a bright, direct tone with strong low frequencies and clear attack.
The body and neck form a continuous construction. This ensures a solid instrument and supports long sustain. The matte natural finish beautifully showcases the characteristic wood grain of the ash.
Ceramic P90 Pickup with a Powerful Sound
The ceramic P90 pickup combines clarity with a warm and powerful mid-range. This brings out slides, vibrato, and subtle pitch variations clearly. The sound is excellent for country, blues, Hawaiian, western swing, and roots music.
With the volume and tone controls, you can easily adjust the sound to your amplifier and playing style. The heavy wraparound bridge contributes to robust string transfer and good sustain.
Playable on Your Lap or on the Included Legs
The LG2ASHNA can be played as a traditional lap steel on your lap. For a comfortable standing or sitting playing position, three telescopic legs are included. These can be attached directly to the instrument.
The 36 positions on the maple fretboard serve as visual orientation during play. The metal nut and bridge keep the strings above the fretboard, allowing you to move freely with a steel bar or slide over the strings.
