SX SEL6CDS archtop electric guitar - desert sunburst

Classic archtop style with a striking finish

The SX SEL6CDS is an archtop electric guitar with an elegant look and a versatile sound. The flamed okoume body is beautifully accented by the Desert Sunburst finish, multi-layer white binding, and tortoise-shell pickguard. Pearloid split-block inlays complete the classic design.

Thanks to the comfortable 625 mm scale length and 305 mm fretboard radius, the guitar feels smooth and familiar. The set okoume neck ensures a solid connection to the body, while the two-way adjustable truss rod allows for precise adjustments.

Two Alnico 5 Humbuckers

The SEL6CDS is equipped with two Alnico 5 humbuckers. These pickups deliver a full and powerful sound with enough warmth for jazz and blues, but also with the clarity and definition needed for rock, pop, and soul.

Each humbucker has its own volume and tone control. The three-way switch allows you to select the neck or bridge pickup, or combine both. The additional six-position Varitone switch expands the tonal range and allows for quick selection of different timbres.

Comfortable and Meticulously Finished

The rosewood fretboard features 22 medium nickel silver frets and striking split-block position markers. Sealed tuning machines with a 1:15 gear ratio support accurate tuning. The nickel-plated hardware complements the classic look of this SX archtop guitar.
