Vangelis: Chariots of Fire (Brass Quintet)
Chariots of Fire is the title of two instrumental pieces of music, written and recorded by Vangelis for the soundtrack of the 1981 film of the same name. In May 1982, the song spent one week at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. This piece has been covered many times and has been used in various media, including the 2012 Olympic Games.
Roland Kernen created a stylish, five-part arrangement with percussion parts. The set is supplied with C, Bb, and Eb parts, allowing the work to be played by various ensembles.
