Bacewicz: Concertino in G major (Violin)
Grazyna Bacewicz (1909-1969) was the second female Polish composer to achieve renown in her home country and beyond. This simple concertino is bursting with vitality and is written with a sound didactic approach. Three positions are required, but only basic fingerings are used. The first movement starts energetically – it contains many notes but is comfortable to play. In the romantic second movement, the violinist can showcase their lyrical side. With a pleasant drive, the third movement leads to the finale via spectacular-sounding runs – which are nevertheless easy to play. Success guaranteed! These books are created within the Study & Play concept, which helps the student to develop their playing in a pleasant and responsible way. Each publication under this name includes one or two CDs that add something extra to the study method. In the case of the editions below, the CDs offer the possibility to study at both the normal tempo and a slow practice tempo. The well-produced set also always consists of a violin part and a piano part. The CD also contains the accompaniment, so a pianist is not strictly necessary.
