Bel Canto for Trombone

This book contains twenty vocalises – originally developed for educating and training the singing voice, but which will also promote many aspects of trombone playing, such as tone production and phrasing. These beautiful pieces are not only useful as etudes, but also perform well in concerts – with piano accompaniment (which is included) or with the CD. In addition to the play-along tracks, the CD also contains complete vocalises, recorded by Ian Bousfield, principal trombonist of the Vienna Philharmonic. Furthermore, the CD contains a printable PDF with sheet music for trombonists who play in the treble clef.
