Dezaire & Kastelein: Violin World 2 is the sequel to the first volume of Nico Dezaire and Jaap Kastelein's Dutch-language violin method. The method is suitable for both individual and group lessons and builds on listening, playing, technique, and gradually learning to read notes.

Volume 2 focuses on call-and-response exercises, simple technical assignments, and songs that can be played from memory. The assignments are clearly elaborated with text, photos, and tablature, so that students can also practice independently at home.

Compared to Volume 1, this second book contains more songs and exercises in traditional musical notation. This makes the method a bridge between learning through written music and learning by ear, as also occurs in Suzuki education, pop, jazz, and folk music.
