The Echoplex Preamp reproduces the characteristics of the mythical EP-3. Everything is there, from the FET stage to the signal path, which is identical to the original. The gain control allows you to boost the signal up to +11dB. The more the gain is pushed, the more your sound will naturally overdrive, just like a tube amp at higher volumes. The controls consist of a gain knob. Connections: input jack; output jack. True bypass: yes.
