The Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi 2 is a professional bass fuzz with extensive tone shaping, based on the classic dual op-amp Big Muff 2 circuit. Designed for bassists who want maximum control over their fuzz character, it combines the iconic Big Muff sound with a full arsenal of pro features for both studio and stage.
An integrated crossover splits the signal into high-pass and low-pass filters, allowing you to apply fuzz exactly where you want it — while retaining the low-frequency body of your bass. Adjustable HPF and LPF controls give you precise control over the frequency range, while the blend knob determines the ratio between dry and distorted signal.
For demanding setups, the Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi 2 offers a balanced XLR DI output of the effected signal and a buffered direct output of the original, dry signal. An adjustable -10 dB input pad ensures compatibility with high-output pickups. With latching/momentary footswitch functionality and buffered bypass, it's ready for any professional context.
