The Electro-Harmonix Pico Shimmer is a compact shimmer reverb pedal for guitarists and producers looking for immersive, atmospheric sound textures in a minimal format. Based on proven DSP algorithms for reverb, modulation, delay, and synthesis, it delivers everything from classic shimmer to experimental ambient sounds.
Three effect scenes give you instant access to a wide sound palette. INTERGALACTIC combines polyphonic octaves, reverb, modulated delay, and a string synthesis engine for cinematic atmospheres. OFF-WORLD offers a softer, mellower shimmer with enhanced delay modulation for retro-futuristic synthesizer textures. ETHERDUST introduces a glitch shimmer engine with randomized delay for granular sparkles and stuttering echoes.
The VOICE knob seamlessly morphs between a clean plate reverb, classic shimmer, and ethereal strings. Secondary knob functions provide deeper control over reverb mix, delay time, modulation depth, and rate — adjustable per scene and retained in memory after power off. Infinite reverb can be activated via the footswitch or by setting TIME to maximum.
With three adjustable bypass modes — digital, analog buffered, and hybrid — the Pico Shimmer adapts to any pedalboard situation. Compact in size, yet full in sound and possibilities.
