The Flight Iris 8 Tenor is an eight-string ukulele, Flight’s first multi-string ukulele. This eight-string ukulele offers a unique playing experience with four pairs of strings, tuned to Gg CC EE AA. An eight-string ukulele creates a sound unlike any other ukulele; strong and full of character. While tuning an eight-string ukulele takes more time than tuning a four-string ukulele, the playing difference is not much greater, as your fingers will feel each set of two strings as one larger string.
