As a member of our Princess Series, the Maia features a solid mango top and laminated rosewood back and sides. It also includes a gloss black headstock, a cutaway, and binding. You will love both the look and sound of the mango and rosewood combination, and players will love the satin neck. Although the Maia could be considered a small tenor guitar, it is designed for standard baritone tuning (DGBE), which is known as Chicago Tuning for a Tenor Guitar. With its steel strings and acoustic body, the Maia offers a sound unlike any other ukulele in Flight's catalog: the sound is bright and dynamic.
