The Ibanez A528CMG in Coral Mirage is an 8-string electric guitar from the ALPHA series. The 8-string ALPHA A528 offers extra low range, a multiscale construction, and an ergonomic shape for demanding modern guitar work. The construction combines American Basswood with a Parallel Wizard AS-8, 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck. The Ebony fretboard, Mother of Pearl Step offset-dot inlays, and 24 jumbo stainless steel frets provide an immediate response and reliable playing feel, both for rhythmic work and technical playing.
For tone shaping, this model is equipped with active Fishman Fluence Modern Alnico 9 / Ceramic 9 pickups. Volume, tone, a 3-way switch, and a Fishman Fluence Voicing switch allow for quick tone changes and precise instrument adjustment to amplifier, stage, or recording situations. The Mono-rail G2 bridge supports stable tuning and efficient transfer of string vibrations.
The scale length is 698–648 mm / 27.5–25.5 inches multiscale, with a fretboard radius of 508 mm. The instrument comes standard with D’Addario EXL120-8 strings: .009/.011/.016/.024/.032/.042/.054/.065. The finish is completed with Black Gotoh MG-T locking tuners. Gig bag included; luminous side dots; ergonomic body contours.
