In Air and Tune, two of Jacob de Haan’s most famous works have been recorded. The Air comes from Crazy Music in the Air, a piece with two contrasting sections. This is one of Jacob de Haan’s first works published for wind orchestra. The Tune comes from Caribbean Variation on a Tune and, like the Air, is a tranquil melody. Arranger Marc Belder combined these two melodies from two different works into one.
