The Fellowship stands for friendship and camaraderie. This symbolism is expressed in two themes, which alternate and complement each other. One theme is based on a French song, the other on a German song. Both are popular songs from two partner municipalities, one of which is located in Normandy (France) and the other in Rhineland-Palatinate (Germany). By merging their songs in this composition, their bond of friendship is sealed forever.
