Jan de Haan: A Man's Destiny (Concert Band)
A Man’s Destiny has been given the Frisian subtitle Yn Ieren en Sinen (with full conviction). The work was commissioned by the CMV Harmonie Sneek on the occasion of its 95th anniversary. The composer based the composition on the life of a former member of the association – a man who played the flugelhorn until the age of 86.
