The song Penny Lane, from 1967, is one of The Beatles' biographical songs. Penny Lane is a street in Liverpool, where The Beatles came from, and the song's lyrics refer to various aspects of their childhood in this city. This arrangement was created by the prominent German recorder soloist and teacher Ralf Bienioschek for his Ralf Bienioschek Signature Edition series. It is written for a standard quartet of soprano, alto, tenor, and great bass recorder, with additional parts for bass recorder and contrabass recorder. Optional parts for piano, cajón (set and score), and guitar (not included in the score) are also provided.
