Compact electronic drum set for beginners
The Medeli DD112/BK is a portable electronic drum machine that allows children and beginner drummers to learn how to play rhythm in an accessible way. This compact tabletop model features four touch-sensitive drum pads, 84 drum and percussion sounds, and various interactive practice functions.
You can play the pads with the included drumsticks or simply with your hands. Thanks to its compact design, you can easily place the DD112 on a table, desk, or other stable surface.
Four touch-sensitive drum pads
The four pads react to the force with which you play. A soft hit produces a lower volume, while a harder hit sounds more powerful. This allows you to play dynamically and work on proper stick technique from the very beginning.
Each pad has a flashing indicator that shows which pad to hit during exercises. Desired sounds can be assigned to the pads using the Pad Assign function.
84 drum and percussion sounds
With 84 built-in sounds, the Medeli DD112 offers a wide selection of drums and percussion instruments. This allows you to create different combinations and get acquainted with various rhythms and music styles.
You can easily select sounds, rhythms, and practice functions using the LCD screen and the rotary knob. The master volume and tempo can be adjusted directly from the control panel.
Coach function for targeted practice
The built-in Coach Mode helps beginner drummers learn to play basic rhythms. The DD112 includes 28 coach exercises that help you work on timing, sense of rhythm, and coordination.
The visual pad indicators show which pad you need to hit. This allows you to practice step-by-step, even if you have no prior experience with drum notation.
Sixty rhythms and interactive game
The drum machine contains 60 rhythms that you can play along to. The tempo is adjustable from 40 to 240 beats per minute, so you can start slowly and gradually increase the speed.
The built-in game function makes practicing more playful and motivates you to stay accurately in time. As a result, the DD112 is not only a musical instrument but also a fun introduction to drumming.
Built-in speaker and headphone jack
You can start playing immediately via the built-in speaker without connecting an external amplifier. If you want to practice silently, you can connect headphones to the 3.5mm jack.
The same jack can be used as an audio output for connection to compatible external audio equipment.
Power via USB-C
The Medeli DD112 operates on 5V power via USB-C. This allows you to connect the instrument to a suitable USB power adapter or another compatible 5V USB power source.
Weighing only 1.5 kg, the instrument is easy to move and take with you to music lessons, or to family and friends.
