Compact digital drum kit for home and on the go
The Medeli DD221 is a portable electronic drum kit with seven touch-sensitive pads. Its compact table-top design allows you to drum almost anywhere without needing space for a traditional drum kit. The DD221 is ideal for beginner drummers, children, and musicians who want to practice at home or on the go.
The drum kit comes with drumsticks and two separate pedals for the bass drum and hi-hat. The non-slip bottom helps prevent the pedals from shifting during play.
Seven touch-sensitive drum pads
The four 5-inch pads and three 3.5-inch pads respond to the force of your strike. This means soft strokes sound subtle and powerful strokes are noticeably louder. This gives you more control over dynamics and makes playing more natural and expressive.
With the Hand Percussion function, you can also play the pads directly with your hands. This allows you to easily use the DD221 for a variety of percussion sounds and rhythmic exercises.
Many drum sounds and customizable kits
The Medeli DD221 contains 273 drum and percussion sounds, distributed among 45 preset drum kits. You can also create up to ten of your own kits, where you decide which sound is assigned to each pad.
With 100 built-in songs, you can immediately practice different rhythms and musical styles. The Drum Off function allows you to mute an existing drum part so you can play it yourself. Furthermore, you can record and save up to five of your own user songs.
Silent practice or play through speakers
The built-in stereo speakers make it possible to play without an additional amplifier. You can also practice silently via the headphone jack. This jack can also be used as an audio output for connecting suitable external equipment.
Via the aux input, you can play along with music from an external audio source. The USB-C connection transmits MIDI data to a computer, allowing you to combine the DD221 with recording software, virtual instruments, and educational programs.
A complete practice solution for drummers
With its portable size, touch-sensitive pads, and extensive collection of sounds, the Medeli DD221 is a practical choice for the beginner drummer. The included pedals and drumsticks ensure that you can quickly get started with practicing, recording, and playing along with music.
