Warm, 1980s-style analog delay tones
The NUX Analog Delay from the Reissue Series is an all-analog delay pedal with the warm and organic character of classic 1980s delays. The repeats gradually become softer and darker, allowing them to sit naturally behind your original guitar signal.
From subtle echo for solos to spacious rockabilly tones and experimental oscillations, this analog delay adds atmosphere and depth without overpowering your dry guitar sound.
True analog Bucket Brigade circuit
The pedal utilizes a fully analog Bucket Brigade circuit with 3205 and 3102 BBD chips. This circuitry gives every repeat a slight tonal change and natural high-end roll-off. That characteristic decay provides the warm delay sound for which analog pedals are known.
The delay time is adjustable from approximately 20 to 300 milliseconds. This makes the pedal especially suitable for short slapback echoes, subtle doubling, and compact rhythmic delay effects.
Simple operation with three controls
Use Delay Time to set the interval between the original signal and the repeat. Repeat determines how many repeats you hear, and Blend controls the ratio between the dry signal and the delay effect.
Turning up the Repeat control creates long feedback patterns. By moving the Delay Time knob simultaneously, you can create typical analog pitch-shifting effects and self-oscillation.
True bypass and flexible power
The mechanical true-bypass circuit routes the original guitar signal directly through when the effect is disengaged. This keeps the influence on the rest of your signal chain to a minimum.
The NUX Analog Delay operates on a 9V battery or a suitable regulated 9V DC adapter with a negative center polarity. Thanks to its sturdy housing, the pedal is suitable for home use, rehearsals, studio recording, and live performances.
