The NUX Dual Loop Stereo NCL-2 is a comprehensive two-track looper for guitarists, singer-songwriters, and multi-instrumentalists. With two independent stereo loop tracks, you can build complete arrangements, alternate between two song sections, or record guitar and vocals separately.

The looper offers 99 phrase memories, up to 90 minutes of stereo recording per track, and a total recording time of approximately 26 hours. Thanks to 32-bit AD/DA conversion and 32-bit floating-point processing, recordings remain clear and detailed even after multiple overdubs.

Three Flexible Loop Modes

• A/B Split: record two different song sections and switch between, for example, a verse and a chorus.
• A+B Sync: play two synchronized loops simultaneously and control their volumes independently.
• Gig: use two independent loops without the built-in drum machine.

In A/B Split and A+B Sync modes, recordings are synchronized with the drum machine's rhythm. This helps to keep loops and song sections tightly in the same tempo.

Dual Drum Machine

The built-in drum machine offers 42 rhythm presets and a total of 672 variations. This allows you to choose suitable accompaniment for different music styles and use separate rhythms for different song sections.

Four built-in effects provide additional creative possibilities during recording and performance:

The effects can be controlled with the included NMP-2 Lite footswitch or an optional expression pedal.

Suitable for Vocals and Instruments

The combined XLR/6.35mm input accepts a microphone or instrument signal. Thanks to the switchable 48V phantom power, you can also connect a suitable condenser microphone. A second 6.35mm input is available for an instrument.

This allows you to connect, for example, vocals and guitar simultaneously, record them separately, and send them via the stereo outputs to an amplifier, mixer, or PA system.

USB Audio and File Management

Via USB-C, the Dual Loop Stereo functions as an audio interface. This allows you to record microphone, instrument, loop, and drum signals directly into a DAW.

Recorded loops can be exported to a computer. You can also import stereo WAV files as backing tracks or loops. Supported files use the format 44.1 kHz, 32-bit floating point, and stereo. The NUX Format Converter helps convert other audio files.

MIDI and Extensive Control

Via MIDI IN and OUT, almost all important functions can be controlled externally, including record, play, stop, tap tempo, and memory selection. A MIDI-to-3.5mm breakout cable is included.

The included NMP-2 Lite offers additional foot control. The function of the switches can be adjusted to your personal workflow.

HD Color Screen

The 2.86-inch color screen has a resolution of 960 × 376 pixels and clearly displays loops, rhythms, effects, and settings. Six separate controls provide direct control over both loop tracks, both drum tracks, microphone level, and master volume.
