Looper and drum machine in one versatile pedal

The NUX JTC Drum & Loop Pro combines a comprehensive looper with a built-in drum machine. Thanks to the two separate footswitches, you can control loops and rhythms independently. This makes the pedal suitable for practicing at home, songwriting, solo performances, and building complete arrangements.

The looper records in 24-bit/44.1kHz audio quality and offers up to six hours of recording time, spread across 256 memory slots. You can choose between Record-Play and Record-Overdub as the standard working method. The left footswitch controls recording, playback, and overdubbing, while the right switch controls rhythms and drum fills.

Forty rhythms with smart drum fills

The built-in drum machine contains forty rhythms for pop, rock, blues, and metal, among others. The collection consists of 25 rhythms in 4/4 time, ten rhythms in 3/4 time, and five shuffle patterns. The tempo is adjustable from 40 to 240 BPM.

While playing, you can activate a drum fill with the RHYTHM footswitch. The JTC Drum & Loop Pro automatically adjusts the length of this fill to its position within the measure. This makes transitions sound more natural and gives a live performance more of the character of an arranged song.

Flexible recording and playback options

In addition to normal recording, the pedal features an automatic recording mode. In this mode, recording begins as soon as the pedal detects an instrument signal. Three options are available for stopping: stopping immediately, stopping at the end of the loop, or gradually fading out over ten seconds.

With the One Shot function, you can play a saved audio file once without it automatically repeating. Compatible stereo files in 24-bit/44.1kHz WAV format can be loaded via USB. This allows you to use the pedal for backing tracks during rehearsals and performances.

Suitable for amplifier, stereo setup, and PA

The two outputs support different signal routes. You can output guitar and drums together in stereo or split both signals across separate outputs. A speaker simulation can be activated on the right output, allowing the signal to be sent directly to a mixer or active PA speaker.

For additional control, a connection is provided for the optional NUX NMP-2 footswitch. This allows you to switch between saved loop phrases while playing.
