Three classic modulation effects in one compact pedal
The NUX NCH-5 Mini SCF is a versatile modulation pedal with three different effect modes: Chorus, Flanger, and Pitch Modulation. Inspired by the legendary SCF modulation effect, the pedal combines classic sounds with modern digital signal processing.
The special DSP technology emulates the character of traditional analog BBD circuits. As a result, the Mini SCF delivers warm, smooth modulation effects, while its compact size takes up minimal space on your pedalboard.
Chorus, flanger, and pitch modulation
In Chorus mode, the pedal adds a wide and spacious modulation to your guitar sound. The Flanger mode produces a more powerful, moving effect with a recognizable sweep sound. Pitch Modulation combines chorus with subtle pitch variation for a light and lively sound.
With the Speed, Width, and Intensity controls, you can precisely adjust the speed, breadth, and intensity of the effect. This allows you to use the Mini SCF for subtle sound enhancement as well as for striking, experimental modulation.
Smart Tap Tempo and flexible bypass
Thanks to Smart Tap Tempo, you can easily set the modulation speed with the footswitch. Additionally, you can choose between true bypass and buffered bypass. In buffered bypass, effect tails naturally continue to sound when you switch off the pedal.
The analog dry signal ensures low noise and virtually no latency. With a dynamic range of 103 dB, the sound remains clear and detailed, even when used in an extensive effect chain.
Suitable for mono and stereo
The NUX Mini SCF supports both mono and stereo use via TRS connections. In stereo, an extra wide and spacious modulation image is created, ideal for two amplifiers, a stereo interface, or an elaborate stage setup.
